On October 13-15,2018, the 34th Anniversary & 2018 Annual Convention was held in Taiwan. Wu Meng, Ultrasound Department Doctor of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University was invited by Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine to attend the convention.

Ming-Ren Chen, President of Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, Masatoshi Kudo, Past President(2011-2013) of World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology(WFUMB), President(2012-2014,2016-2018) of Asia Federation of Ultrasound Medicine and Biology(AFSUME) , as well as experts in ultrasound field from USA, Japan, Hong Kong participated conference to share their latest research and clinical findings. Dr. Wu Meng is the only chosen expert from mainland.

It was the first time that a doctor of Ultrasound department of Zhongnan Hospital went to Taiwan to communicate with his counterparts. He said: “It’s my great honor to attend such meeting and I’ve learnt much from them, at the same time I would like to let them know what is happening in Ultrasound field in inland hospitals.”

Dr. Wu Meng gave a lecture named “Evaluation of Therapeutic Effect of CEUS in Hepatic Carcinoma RFA and Comparison with Conventional Ultrasonography and CECT”. President Ming-Ren Chen gave high opinion of the lecture and expressed his strong desire to communicate and cooperate with mainland hospitals.
